A Domestic Partnership: Trinity and the National University of Mexico (UNAM)

Between the ending of the Language School and the exchange program with Monterrey, a domestic partnership with the National University of Mexico (UNAM) started in 1955. Trinity provided classroom spaces to host spring Spanish classes taught by faculty from the UNAM and open to the public. This kind of exchange provided opportunities to Trinity students and the community to engage in some sort of intercultural exchange without any high financial burdensome. Language, culture, history, and art classes were part of the offerings.
