A digital exhibit exploring the roots, growth, and impact of bilingual and bicultural education at Trinity University. <br \/><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>This project traces how national policy, local partnerships, and individual advocates have come together to shape transformative educational practices that honor language, culture, and identity.<br \/><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through archival materials, oral histories, and community context, this work invites viewers to reflect on how Trinity engaged with the surrounding San Antonio community and how bilingual education at the university blossomed from grassroots movements into a pedagogical\/institutional commitment.<br \/><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This exhibits centers on the history and development of Bilingual Education at Trinity University, particularly with the greater San Antonio community and national bilingual education policy. It seeks to illuminate the strengths and shortcomings of Trinity\u2019s undergraduate and graduate education programs, including the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT), and the network of professors and community partners who helped shape them.
